2022 NFL Conference Championship Parlay Picks
The NFL Conference Championships take place on Sunday, Jan. 30. In the NFC, the 4-seed Los Angeles Rams host the 6-seed San Francisco 49ers while in the AFC, the 2-seed Kansas City Chiefs host the 4-seed Cincinnati Bengals. With just 2 NFL games on Sunday, one of the best ways for bettors to score big profit is to play parlays. Check out two parlays, a 2-teamer and a 4-teamer, that if they hit will make Sunday profitable.
Parlay Picks to Consider for the 2022 NFL Conference Championship Round
2-Team Parlay Moneyline Play
- Cincinnati Bengals +277
- San Francisco 49ers +154
If you’re playing a 2-team parlay, consider rolling the dice and going for the big money. The Cincinnati Bengals are a +7 underdog. Although the Bengals look solid to cover the spread, the better play is on Cincinnati to beat the Kansas City Chiefs. KC played in one of the best games in football history last Sunday. The Chiefs scored 2 late touchdowns and a TD in overtime to beat the Buffalo Bills. There’s no way Kansas City heads into this game with the type of energy they’ll need to contain Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Joe Mixon. Also, the Bengals beat the Chiefs 34-31 in Week 17. So Cincinnati won’t step onto GEHA Field scared. If Tyrann Mathieu doesn’t play, Burrow could dominate.
Like the Bengals, San Francisco is ready to roll. The 49ers swept the 2-game season series against the Los Angeles Rams. The game in the Bay Area wasn’t even close. The Niners beat the Rams 31-10. In NFL Week 18, San Francisco rallied down 17 points to beat the Rams 27-24 in overtime. At +154, SF might be an overlay.
4-Team Parlay Moneyline Play
- Cincinnati Bengals +7
- San Francisco 49ers +3.5
- Over 54 AFC Championship
- Over 46.5 NFC Championship
If you decide to play a 4-team parlay, it makes sense to take the points in both championship games. Cincinnati has a better shot to beat the Kansas City Chiefs than the odds indicate, which means the Bengals are an overlay at +7. San Francisco should be no more than a +2.5 shot against the Rams. The 49ers owned the Rams during the regular season. So if LAR wins, it will likely be by a field goal or less.
Both games project as high-scoring affairs. The Rams and 49ers know each other too well not for each to score over 24 points. Over 46.5 is more than playable. Burrow and the Bengals have yet to produce a 30 point playoff game. The Bengals beat the Raiders 26-19 and then got by the Titans 19-16. Cincinnati’s defense won’t stop Mahomes and the Chiefs. So Sunday is the moment for the Bengals’ offense to break out with a huge game.
